Graduation Project: “Stealth Chair”

This chair is made solely out of birch-plywood painted in matte black. The chair consists of 17  pieces of plywood which are angled in different ways to make the chair comfortable and structurally strong.  The design gives a radar deflecting impression with the sloped surfaces and colour, hence the name “Stealth Chair” .

Design for Skills Masters 2010

This chair has a beech frame, a plywood seat and back laminated with white HPL.
The seat and back seem to float between its frame.
I participated with this chair in a national contest where I became first in furniture design.
